Capital Kennel Club of Juneau would like to announce our winter FUNd raiser, Pet Photos with Santa 2009. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and training of people and their dogs. In addition to our classes, proceeds from these fund raisers help keep our dog events and public education activities funded.

This year, in addition to "Pet Photos with Santa", we have expanded to include "Gourmet Treats Bake Sale" and "Holiday Pet Portraits".  We will again be located in the Mendenhall Mall thanks to the Mall's generous donation of space.  Our dates are a little more spread out this year to accommodate people who want to include these photos in Christmas cards. (Dates are: Nov 21, 22 and Dec 6)

PET PHOTOS WITH SANTA:  We have offered this event for many years and it is always a huge hit and lots of fun for everyone. Santa will be available for photographing with your pet(s) on Sunday, November 22, and Sunday, December 6, from 1-5 p.m. at the Mendenhall Mall.  Cost/sitting: $10  Pets must be clean, on leash or in a suitable carrier.

HOLIDAY PET PORTRAITS:  This new session is for pets that are Santa shy, need a little extra care when photographing or for those who want a more formal holiday portrait.  We will use a holiday theme set and background.  Please note that Santa will not be available at this session.  "Holiday Pet Portraits" will be held on Saturday, November 21 from 1-5 p.m. at the Mendenhall Mall.  Cost/sitting: $10.  Pets must be clean, on leash or in a suitable carrier.

GOURMET TREATS BAKE SALE items are all home baked, donated by our members and deemed delicious by our pet testers.  All ingredients will be listed on the label and will be packaged in festive holiday bags suitable for gifts.  This is the first time we have offered baked goods so please come early.  Gourmet Treats will be available at all three photo sessions (Nov 21, 22 and Dec 6) or until sold out.

We had a very good response to our all-digital photo event last year.  Within 24 hours of your photo sitting, the photographer will upload the digital files to our photo website (ckcoj.dotphoto.com).  You will be able to view your proofs online, pick out what you would like to have printed, place an order with Dot Photo and within a week your high quality photographic processed prints will arrive by mail.

Also available from the Dot Photo site are digital file downloads for those who want to do their own prints.  A portion of print and file download proceeds benefit CKCoJ as well.
