 sanctioned NASDA event that requires registration with NASDA to participat

 inar presented by Callie Kiehl (Licensed NASDA judge since 2021) and 4 tri
 als in 2 days! Earn your first NASDA points and potentially earn a new tit
 le!\nThe North American Sport Dog Association (NASDA) was formed in 2016 t
 o demonstrate the breadth of canine olfactory abilities. Trials are design
 ed to resemble both historic fieldwork and&nbsp\;modern work\, and to crea
 te a competitive atmosphere where humans and canines can develop their ski
 lls.\nThe introduction seminar will include approximately 3 hours of lectu
 re and 2 hours of paws-on practice. We will cover all 4 regular classes:\n
 Urban Locating (canines are looking for caged rats in an urban/well used a
 rea)\,\nTrailing and Locating (canines are looking for caged rats in a fie
 ld/woods and following a trail of ‘rat tea’ which is laid before competiti
 on) *We will have to drop the events with rats if the club cannot get them
  shipped to Juneau\n\nShed Dog (canines are looking for antlers and retrie
 ving them to their owner)\,\n\nLost Item (canines are locating lost items\
 ; both their owners and strangers).\n\n\n\nWe will cover the purpose of th
 e classes/trials\, rules\, levels\, titles\, and general philosophy of NAS
 DA. In the paws-on portion of the seminar\, all dogs (working spots only) 
 will be introduced to the 4 regular classes.\nOn day 1\, after the seminar
 \, we will have 2 trials in all 4 classes. You will have an opportunity to
  start earning NASDA points. Ribbons and Rosettes will be awarded. *\nOn d
 ay 2\, we will hold a small question-and-answer session for 30 minutes and
