 open to the general public for the normal price of $162.50.\nThis six-week
  class will cover how to get started in UKC Nosework. We will begin by imp
 rinting the birch scent on your dog and teaching your dog an alert behavio
 r. Once your dog has paired the birch odor with a reward\, we will move to
  container searches\, starting with glass jars\, then cardboard boxes\, an
 d moving on to simple interior/exterior searches. We will stress 'sourcing
 ' and how to read your dog's behavior when it is in an area of odor.\nIt’s
  super important to attend all classes\, as there will be minimal time to 
 catch up\, and each class will build on the previous class. It’s also impo
 rtant to practice every day (only 5-10 min)\, especially the first two wee
 ks.\nScent work kits ($12.50 value) are included in the price of the class
 .
