 025.\nThis six-week class will cover how to get started in UKC Nosework. W
 e will begin by imprinting the birch scent on your dog and teaching your d
 og an alert behavior. Once your dog has paired the birch odor with a rewar
 d\, we will move to container searches\, starting with glass jars\, then c
 ardboard boxes\, and moving on to simple interior/exterior searches. We wi
 ll stress 'sourcing' and how to read your dog's behavior when it is in an 
 area of odor.\nIt’s super important to attend all classes\, as there will 
 be minimal time to catch up\, and each class will build on the previous cl
 ass. It’s also important to practice every day (only 5-10 min)\, especiall
 y the first two weeks.\nScent work kits ($12.50 value) are included in the
